SCABEE International Student Hackaton
The SCABEE International Student Competition was held at FHV Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences in Dornbirn, bringing together 24 students from Denmark, Poland, Austria and France.
Over four days, mixed international teams developed a take-back programme for chairs, with the goal of reducing the environmental impact of a virtual Danish manufacturing company. The task confronted students with a realistic sustainability challenge and required them to combine circular design thinking with commercial reasoning, while working across languages, disciplines and academic cultures.
The programme combined focused project work with ice-breaker sessions, mentoring by teaching staff, a campus visit and a social dinner. The week concluded with final elevator pitches, in which each team presented its concept.
